Rock Climbing

Ready to get vertical? Climb the iconic Kangaroo Point Cliffs in the heart of Brisbane! Or escape the city and spend the day climbing Mt Ngungun in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains. Whichever adventure you choose, under the supervision of our fully qualified guides, your climbing will be safe, fun and rewarding.

We work closely with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) and other management organisations to ensure that our outdoor activities are fully permitted and environmentally sound.

Abseiling

Looking for an exciting adventure? Take in dazzling views of the Brisbane skyline with a sunset abseil from Kangaroo Point. Or kick it up a notch and test your courage out on Mt Ngungun in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains with 40 metre cliff faces. Either way, you'll be in great hands with our qualified guides keeping you safe from top to bottom.

Bouldering

Been bouldering in an indoor climbing gym, but keen to try your skills on the real stuff? Maybe you've never tried this bouldering thing, and don't know where to start. Mat placement, spotting, route finding - there's a lot to learn when it comes to outdoor bouldering! And there's no better place to do it than White Rock Conservation Area, which boasts the best and highest concentration of sandstone bouldering in South East Queensland, with routes to satisfy total beginners, as well as challenge the seasoned pro, and everything in between.

Boulder Mat Hire

Itching for an outdoor bouldering adventure but don't have your own mats? We offer mat rental at a rate of $20/day. This is a great way to take your skills from the boulder gym to real rock without making a big investment - come grab a mat and see for yourself how awesome the world of outdoor bouldering is. If you want a mat for the weekend you can pickup the mat on Friday and drop it off Monday for $40.

Pinnacle is committed to providing the best experience possible to all of our clients. Not only are our guides and instructors fully qualified but our qualifications are kept current with regular training. We take training and safety seriously to ensure all of our activities are run with minimal risk and that all of our clients are taught the best way to do things. Having guides with 20 years of industry experience, we know how to create an environment where people can push themselves without feeling pressured or put down - no matter who you are, challenge yourself and have a good time with Pinnacle Sports. All our guides hold current qualifications and are at minimum accredited with the following training: SISOABS009 - Lead single pitch abseiling activities on natural surfaces, SISOCLM009 - Lead single pitch climbing activities on natural surfaces, top rope climbing, SISORSC002 - Perform vertical rescues.
